You will build on a successful programme of engagement and development at the Institute, working to inform decision-making in business and policy. You will drive forward research and collaborations across the areas of climate and environmental change and contribute to teaching on the Institute’s portfolio of training programmes. You will catalyse innovation to address the causes and effects of climate change.
During the first three years, you will be responsible for delivering a programme of activity related to your field, as agreed by the Institute and the home Department.
• Hold a PhD (or equivalent) in Climate, Environmental Science, Cleantech, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Health or related field
• A developing national reputation and expertise in your field
• A collaborative nature and the ability to build and sustain effective working relationships, both internally and externally
• Please apply with an application form via the online system. The College believes that the use of animals in research is vital to improve human and animal health and welfare. Animals may only be used in research programmes where their use is shown to be necessary for developing new treatments and making medical advances. Imperial is committed to ensuring that, in cases where this research is deemed essential, all animals in the College’s care are treated with full respect, and that all staff involved with this work show due consideration at every level.
Hybrid working may be considered for this role. Staff working in roles that are suitable for hybrid working will normally be expected to work 60% of their time onsite. The opportunity for hybrid working will be discussed at interview.
