We're thrilled to announce that, due to the expansion of our R&D Department, we have three exciting opportunities for Mechanical Design Engineers to join our dynamic team in Kingswinford. The purpose of this role is to create and develop design solutions for Handicare products and to provide engineering solutions to complex consumer and business needs, with the opportunity to work from initial concept all the way to final manufacture on one site.

Work as part of a European based R&D team with opportunity to collaborate on global projects
Work on multiple projects as required to support both new product introduction as well as on going product development
Design solutions to meet technical, quality, time and cost requirements
Producing engineering solutions including CAD, detail drawings and other associated documentation necessary for product certification, manufacture, installation and service
Drive the principle of design for manufacture and continuous improvement in all we do
Strive for the best quality solutions whilst meeting cost and time constraints.

Qualified to a minimum of HNC or Degree/HND in Mechanical Engineering or relevant industry experience
Mechanical design experience and / or manufacturing engineering experience
Design for manufacture
High level of CAD experience (Solidworks preferable)
High level understanding of GD&T as well as assembly and sub assembly drawings
Capable of self-starting and working effectively as part of a larger project team
Support and take lead where required on Engineering changes
Good understanding of engineering change control
