What you'll do
  • Manage your own diverse portfolio of clients, including sole traders, limited companies, and charities, delivering a range of accounting services such as bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, tax planning, and compliance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships through regular communication and proactive support.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on accounting matters, identifying opportunities to optimise financial performance and mitigate risks.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal team members, including partners, managers, and support staff, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

What you will have

Significant experience, 3 years plus, working in a practice accounting environment, with a proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering high-quality accounting services.
Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting standards.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and colleagues at all levels.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
