This school is seeking a Behaviour Mentor role with a start time of ASAP located in Hackney.

About the role:
- Supporting children with a range of SEN to keep them engaged in the classroom.
- Encourage the development of the student's social skills.
- Work 1:1 and in small groups with students, providing reading and maths sessions.
- Adapt teaching methods and resources to suit the unique learning styles of each student.
- Monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and staff.
What the school is looking for:
- Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar behavioural mentor role is highly advantageous.
- Must have a enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to get one (£46).
- Strong understanding of special educational needs and the challenges that students with SEN may encounter.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of students with SEN.
