A position has become available for a full-time Skilled Metal Fabricatorfor a prototype engineering company based in Hertfordshire. 80 per hour + overtime for the right candidate.
Skilled Metal Fabricatorrequired for a busy sheet metal engineering workshop.
Our client are a leading engineering business, Letchworth based they specializie in Prototypes & Low Volume Production Sheet Metal Pressings, Stampings and Fabrication to the Highest Quality.
Skilled Metal Fabricator candidates must be able to read engineering drawings, understand tolerances / bend allowances / being experienced in / fabrication and sheet-metal machinery.
Duties include Welding and fabrication in stainless steel, Aluminium, and mild steel material 1.The Ability to make assembly weld fixtures.
MIG welding both sub and main assemblies either on a fabrication JIG or freehand.
Sanding\Grinding components or assemblies to achieve the stated dimensions and finish.
Requirements for the Sheet Metal Fabricator:
Sheet Metal Fabrication experience
25 days leave plus Bank Holidays per year.
80 /hr depending on experience
Regular overtime at X1.Bonus scheme
Modern machinery in a bespoke building.
Pension.
