Company Overview:
Gap Personnel is collaborating with a valued client in the Kettering area and is seeking dedicated Warehouse Operatives with VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) experience and forklift licenses to join their team.

Role Overview:
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be an essential part of our warehouse team, assisting with all aspects of goods-in, stock control, and delivery notes. This role requires physical stamina and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately pick products/orders while meeting established picking targets.
  • Efficiently move stock around the warehouse using VNA and forklift.
  • Load and unload goods as required.
  • Conduct quality checks on orders.
  • Support the production and goods-out teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and activities.
  • Perform general maintenance and cleaning of the warehouse.
  • Adhere to health and safety requirements at all times.
  • Note: This position can be physically demanding, with a constant focus on safety, quality, and hygiene to ensure customer satisfaction.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse picking environment is essential.
  • VNA experience and any kind of forklift license as conversion possible on site.
  • Strong practical skills and understanding of warehouse operations.
  • Good numeracy skills; counting is a critical part of this role.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Own transport is beneficial due to the location.
