  • Ensuring that all technical activities adhere to engineering procedures, with appropriate internal and independent governance applied.
  • Developing and overseeing engineering standards and processes to ensure SQEP (Suitably Qualified and Experienced Personnel) and regulatory compliance.
  • Offering leadership, guidance, and mentoring to fellow engineers.
  • Assisting with external AVC reviews.
  • Acting as deputy for the Principal Engineer when required, as part of personal development.
What are we looking for in our next Technical Author?
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant STEM subject (Engineering, Physics, Maths, Science).
  • Experience or exposure to the engineering lifecycle.
  • Previous involvement in working on complex programmes.
  • Knowledge of relevant engineering standards, including safety and environmental regulations.
