Confidence in machining high value exotic materials such as Nickel Alloy 625, 718, Inconel, and Aluminum Bronze is essential for this role. Responsibilities

  • Program, set up, and operate Mazak Machines, with a focus on machining centres using Nexus 2 controls
  • Expertise in machining high value exotic materials, demonstrating precision and attention to detail
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure the efficient and timely completion of projects
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in programming and operating Mazak Machines, specifically machining centres with Nexus 2 controls
  • Familiarity with machining high value exotic materials such as Nickel Alloy 625, 718, Inconel, and Aluminum Bronze
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Day-to-day
  • Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to plan and execute machining projects
  • Program and set up Mazak Machines as per project requirements
  • Operate machines to produce precision parts from high value exotic materials
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment
