We are working with a tier 1 conctractor who are looking to employ an experienced Contract Manager on a permanent basis to work on the Northumbrian Water framework. As the Contracts Manager you will oversee the management of multiple clean water and utility frameworks throughout the North East. Benefits:

Responsibilities:
  • Management / Supervision and coaching of Site Managers to ensure effective running of operations
  • Responsible for overseeing operational and technical elements of multiple water utility frameworks
  • Responsible for ensuring all projects are delivered within financial budget and tight time constraints with regular reports back to the Directors. This includes overseeing profit and loss accounts
  • Responsible for the management of subcontractors, plant, and materials
  • Key contact in liaising with the client and local authorities whilst conducting regular progress meetings
  • Lead on contract negotiations and implementation of contract variations as required
  • Complete contract close-out, reviewing contracts for extension or renewal, and assisting procurement teams where applicable for re-procurement
What do we need from you?
  • Professional qualified with NRSWA Supervisor / SMSTS and NEBSOH or IOSH as a minimum
  • Experience of working in the Utilities sector, ideally with Water
  • Excellent knowledge of Utility Projects and legislation within the Utilities Industry
  • Proven track record of successful delivery from start to finish
  • Full UK driving license
