We are currently seeking a ‘ Conservation Officer’ who will be an integral part

The Conservation Officer will bepart of the FCCT Conservation and Engagement (C&E) team and will
conduct conservation and community engagement activities to further the aims and objectives of
the FCCT conservation agenda and Fife Biodiversity Action Plan. and will be focused on time bound conservation projects with specified outcomes.

Knowledge of national and international environmental and conservation agendas

Trainingin,and practical experience of,ecological survey data gathering techniques.

Experience working with school/community groups and with diverse groups from varied
Project management experience within conservation and community engagement.

Demonstrable experience of delivering projects on time and to a budget.

Experience of delivering projects with a wide range of stakeholder groups.

Diplomatic and flexible.

Flexible mindset, able to be self-critical.

Clear grasp of the Scottish Outdoor Access Code.

Able to understand their role within the broader organisational and conservation context.

This post is a full-time (36 hours per week) permanent post with an annual salary from £28,251
– £Work will typically be delivered over a five-day week but may include some evening
A generous holiday entitlementof25 days(rising to 30 days after the completion of 5
years of service)plus 8 days Public Holiday (pro rata)
