Lead Infrastructure Engineer / AWS - £100K + Excellent Bonus & Benefits – FinTech
We have an exciting opportunity with one of our clients—a rapidly expanding, data-driven SaaS organisation with an impressive client portfolio. We are looking for an experienced Lead Infrastructure Engineer to help elevate their infrastructure, with a particular focus on early-stage architectural development.

We are seeking a senior, hands-on engineer to collaborate closely with the CTO in designing, monitoring, and upgrading the existing systems.

Deployment, automation, management and maintenance of cloud-based systems (AWS)
Management of creation, release and configuration of systems
Provisioning single tenant versions of the infrastructure and helping spec custom integrations
Advocating for changes in current architecture to maximise performance, availability and cost savings
Instil DevOps practices within the team
Well versed in building and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS using services such as EKS, Kafka (MKS), Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Aurora, ECS Fargate, Lambda, SecretsManager, AWS Organisations, IAM, KMS, preferably with certification in these areas.
A good knowledge of AWS best practices around multi-account / multi-region setups and experience delivering SaaS based products (multi-tenancy/single-tenant setups)
Good understanding of networks and cross data centre networking
Generous annual bonus (20%)
~ Hybrid working – Ideally once per month in London, but flexibility around this being more or less frequent
