Anderson McQue has been appointed by a global Engineering business to source a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Glasgow. This is a new role in a growing team, working on renewable energy projects, and designing innovative energy solutions across generation, storage, transmission, and distribution.
Prepare a variety of complex engineering deliverables for larger or multiple projects.
# Oversee collection, assimilation, and management of data for engineering work.
# Prepare complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles.
# Manage assigned budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
# Independently apply advanced engineering techniques and analyze problems and methods.
# Review lower level engineering work or assignments.
# Serve as the responsible charge for a project.
# Serve as a technical specialist with the knowledge and skill set to provide consultation and guidance to project teams in a particular practice area.

You will hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and should have 8-15 years of relevant experience. Experience working on HV Substation Primary design, AIS or GIS 220 kv and above, an understanding of UK Grid Code, and experience supervising direct reports is required.
