As the VP of Architecture at Ideagen, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our software solutions. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will be responsible for defining and executing the architectural vision and strategy that supports our business objectives. Your leadership will guide a global team of architects in creating robust, scalable, and secure software solutions that continue to position Ideagen as a leader in providing essential services across industries.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of the architectural vision and technical strategy for Ideagen's platform and products.
  • Lead and mentor a global team of architects to accelerate the development of high-quality software solutions.
  • Champion continuous improvement and innovation in problem-solving and solution design.
  • Advocate for and ensure the adoption of best practises, standards, and architectural principles across the organisation.
  • Oversee the architecture review process and ensure alignment with reference architecture and business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a technology radar to standardise the use of tools, techniques, platforms, languages, and frameworks.
  • Strategize and manage the mitigation of technical debt and identify potential risks in current software solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Cyber to ensure the security and integrity of our software solutions through best practises in Secure
  • Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC).
Skills and Experience
  • Experience in leading software architecture, design, and development
  • Experience in Software Development Roles
  • Proven track record in building software products at scale
  • Highly proficient with in at least one programming language
  • Experience in Cloud Platforms and related technologies
  • Highly skilled in Data Architecture
  • Expertise in AI and ML frameworks, design, and implementation
