Starting salary £13.75 per hour
We are looking for a part time Assistant Cook to cover around 30 hours a week.

We want our homes to be a home in the truest sense, and we are committed to making our residents feel at home from the outset.
*Main Duties of our Assistant Cooks; *
* To prepare food and cook in a hygienic manner. Help come up with ideas for meals and mealtimes.
* To be aware of the residents’ dietary needs and respond to their comments and requests in respect of the menu.
* To hold a suitable food and hygiene certificate.
* To dispose of waste correctly.
* To ensure that all food is used within the prescribed period, with particular attention paid to perishable goods.
* To contribute in the serving of food.
* To perform other such reasonable duties as may be required.
*Skills and Experience of our Assistant Cooks;*
* Previous experience working within a kitchen environment
* High level of written and spoken English
Please note this position is subject to a DBS check.
