Exciting Career Opportunity for a Residential Property Solicitor in Essex

Are you an experienced Residential Property Solicitor looking for a new challenge with a well-regarded law firm in Essex? We are currently seeking for a driven solicitor to join their residential property team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and client-focused environment, where youll be able to further develop your skills while managing a diverse range of property transactions.

Role Overview:

In this role, youll manage a varied caseload of residential property matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and leasehold transactions. You will work directly with clients, providing expert legal advice and guiding them through every stage of the property process. Your focus will be on delivering outstanding client service, ensuring that each transaction progresses smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the full lifecycle of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, and remortgages
  • Advising clients on property-related matters such as leasehold issues, rights of way, and stamp duty
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, and leases
  • Communicating with all relevant parties including clients, estate agents, and financial institutions to facilitate smooth transactions
  • Identifying potential legal issues and offering timely, practical solutions
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients and providing clear, accessible legal advice
  • Assisting clients with complex issues related to property transactions and guiding them through the legal process with confidence

Key Requirements:

  • A qualified solicitor with at least 2 years experience in residential property law
  • A thorough understanding of residential property transactions, including the legal and regulatory framework
  • Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
  • Proven ability to handle a high-volume caseload and manage multiple transactions simultaneously
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to spot potential legal challenges
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
