To ensure all welding and fabrications regardless of location are carried out safely and to a high standard.
Contribute to design and installation of all projects you are involved in.
Ability to read and interpret Engineering and fabrication drawings.
Input to training requirements.
Welding and fabrication in workshop and site.
Working knowledge of oil and gas/marine and structural welding/fabrication works and standards.
Must be conscientious in approach to welding and fabrication to ensure high standards and quality.Working knowledge of oil and gas/marine and structural fabrication works and standards.
An NC/HNC in welding/fabrication preferred but not essential at least 4 years experience in the above role.
Broad knowledge of welding and fabrication operation and procedures as required for the role and may include:
Gas shielded Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW)
Oxy-Acetylene cutting/welding
Machine/workshop power tools and machinery.
This role is physically demanding as you will be involved in heavy Fabrication and welding projects. You may be required to work in every kind of weather on site and offshore. We will also require confined space and working at heights in this role.
