Someone capable of delivering high-quality projects while managing a diverse range of challenges? This is a great opportunity for a Freelance Site Manager to join a dynamic team delivering civil engineering projects within the Yorkshire Water framework.
Diversion of Large diameter water mains and Sewers, segmental shaft and pipejack under railway.
Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
• Ensure project milestones are met in line with programme
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations
• Report progress, budget, and any issues to the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders
• Liaise with local residents and authorities to minimise disruption and manage expectations
• Resolve any site issues promptly to keep the project on track
Proven experience as a Site Manager on civils projects, preferably within the water sector
• Strong knowledge of water mains construction and open-cut sewer techniques
• Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of workers and subcontractors
