Hartmann Young has partnered with a high-growth and dynamic diagnostics company, enabling personalised treatment for cancer, heart disease and infectious diseases through digital testing.

The role

They're looking at add a Technical Product Manager to their team in Cambridge, who is responsible for educating healthcare providers, particularly in oncology, about the clinical value of the company's products. This role requires knowledge of precision medicine, especially in the use of biomarkers and therapies to enhance treatment outcomes. You'll translate research data into educational materials, present at national and regional meetings, and collaborate with experts to disseminate information. You'll also train speakers, create educational content, and support healthcare providers in interpreting clinical reports related to the company's products, ultimately helping to improve personalised cancer treatments.

The requirements

  • B.Sc. in life sciences, biology, medicine or pharma;
  • Clinical expertise or related experience in oncology or precision medicine;
  • Experience working with oncology experts at academic medical centers to build consensus around new products and/or services;
  • Ability to address high-level experts in the scientific field at company-sponsored events and academic society meetings.

The person

The ideal candidate for the position will be ambitious, and willing to take on the responsibility that comes with working as part of a smaller team where you'll frequently engage with senior leadership. You'll be organised, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and collaborate across teams and organisational levels, both internally and externally. You'll be confident and adept at addressing and responding to clinical questions in various settings, from one-on-one interactions to larger groups, roundtables, and meetings.
