Manufacturing Operations Facilitator

About The Team:
This role oversees the smooth movement of products during manufacturing; from setting up boxes to sorting them for shipping, it ensures that lines and recipes are accurate. This is done through effective communication and using bespoke software tools. The Flow Controller mainly interacts with Operations Manager, Shift Manager, Team Leader, Maintenance, and Automation Tech teams. They monitor production lines, report issues, and help solve problems. They also assist with testing new systems and work on improving box production efficiency by addressing bottlenecks, stock issues, and quality problems, coordinating teams as needed.
What You Will Be Doing:
● Use Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) and Production Control Systems (PCS) to ensure that machine statuses are active and correctly set up.
● Identify and, when possible, anticipate conveyor jams. Notify maintenance if needed and ensure balanced box flow.
● Conduct regular checks on line throughput, analysing choke points, and taking remedial action to address any issues.
● Effectively coordinate service and support functions to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
● Liaise with outbound logistics and internal warehousinginventory to ensure the availability of raw materials and meet outbound setup requirements.
● Work with Shift Managers and Operations Managers to ensure that end-of-shift box cleardown is completed, following automated shutdown procedures.
Who You Are:
● Proven experience in a manufacturing or distribution centre environment.
● Proficiency in using computer software and systems.
● Problem-solving skills and the agility to make decisions in a fast-paced production environment.
● Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
● Strong communications skills and ability to positively collaborate across teams and departments.
● Lead by example and ensure that HelloFresh DNA is at the forefront of everything we do.

Location: THE WINDMILL, 1 Holme Lane, Spondon, Derby, DE21 7HW
Work Schedule: 7pm - 7am, Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Saturday as there are two roles here.
This is a rotation of 3 months of NIGHTS and 3 months of DAYS both working 7 - 7.
