Energy Consulting Manager


Salary: Competitive salary plus company car or car allowance, annual performance bonus, private medical and pension


Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday


Location: UK home-based with national travel

Developing Building Energy Services low carbon solutions to meet customer requirements for sustainability, resilience, innovation, performance and optimised life cycle cost.
Designing decarbonisation solutions across our customers and leading the development and promotion of new innovative and commercially attractive service offerings to support growth.
Leading a team of energy design engineers and consultants to support business development, design and implementation of low carbon building solutions, energy audits, decarbonisation strategies and heat decarbonisation plans.
Providing leadership, business strategy and overall management of the energy consultants and its functions and activities.
Coordinating bid development activities that focus on the delivery of low carbon strategies, building energy solutions and other consultancy type outputs.
Leading and attending key client meetings to co-design energy solutions in line with their sustainability, resilience, performance and life cycle drivers.
Preparing project briefs and seeking internal approval, considering capex, programme, resource, procurement strategy, risks identification and mitigation.
Managing existing sub-contractors and identifying new sub-contractors ensuring they represent Veolia positively and provide compliant and high-quality customer service.



A qualified engineer with robust experience of the energy industry.
Good understanding of Low Carbon Building Energy Solutions.
Experienced Project Manager with excellent resource planning skills and capability of leading the development and negotiation of contract terms.
A creative, solution oriented thinker with Technical Optioneering experience in a client facing capacity.
Proficient with Building energy modelling tools such as EnergyPro.
Proficient with Microsoft/Google spreadsheets, documents, Gantt charts, presentations
Ability to quickly identify technological solutions and commercial approaches to assist in the development of industrial solutions.
