Proactive are currently recruiting for CNC Operator/ Turner to work for a manufacturing company based in Wellingborough

Your daily duties will include:



  • Under limited supervision, machine standard and special components for bespoke MMD machines to schedule.

  • Machine parts using manual and CNC machines.

  • Keeping records of time and material used on jobs.

  • Support engineering and production with any changes to machine build.

  • Support engineering with parts for research and development.

Required skills



  • CNC and manual machining knowledge and 3-5 years’ experience.

  • Knowledge of working with Prototract, SLX, Siemens, Shopmill (would be an advantage but training will be provided)

  • Read mechanical drawings.

  • Mechanical skills.

  • General problem-solving skills and practical aptitude.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and display a willingness to learn and put skills into practice.

  • Excellent communication.

  • Able to lift weight ranging from 10 to 20 kilos

  Pay £12.98-£14.54 per hour

Hours  :8am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday

8:30am-1pm Friday.
