Senior Compliance Analyst, London, Hybrid, 12 month Fixed Term Contract
Senior Compliance Analyst is required on a 12 month fixed term contract to assist the Compliance function to proactively ensure relevant activities are conducted to e nsure Pay.UK adheres to all relevant regulatory , legal and assumed o bligations ;
The role includes planning compliance review meetings within Pay.UK, managing non-compliance and reporting oversight/resolution. Actively contribute to the detection and prevention of potential breaches. Contribute to the provision of advice and insight to new colleagues. Championing compliance culture throughout Pay.UK by increasing awareness and compliance-related knowledge of all Pay.UK colleagues. Ensure assessment of compliance capabilities and training as relevant is performed to ensure Pay.UK can evidence adherence to all relevant regulatory and legal obligations.
Key Accountabilities
- Supports the design and influences the implementation the Compliance Framework.
- Supports the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Pay.UK compliance monitoring program.
- Leads and contributes to ad-hoc projects as required by the Senior Compliance Manager.
- Support the Internal Control Annual Assurance Return (ICAAR) process and responsible for developing procedures and process required for continuous improvement
- Supports Pay.UK RE&P team with the interpretation of regulatory requirements, and the implementation of processes supporting those requirements.
- Supports with regulatory requirements and disseminates appropriate and relevant information to the business.
- Creates and delivers risk-based compliance formal training across the business on relevant topics and developments.
- Supports and provides advice to the 1st Line of Defence functions and identifying relevant training needs.
- Ensures that Pay.UK policies adhere and meet regulatory, legal and industry compliance requirements.
- Collaborates with the Risk team to understand key risks, their mapping to regulation, legislation.
- Supports the coordination across departments to respond to legal and regulatory requests, such as the review of the end-to-end supply chain for the Modern Slavery Act and the Gender Pay Gap reporting activity.
- Monitors and reports on effectives of compliance controls management information.
- Builds strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
- Monitors and reports on the effectiveness of Pay.UK compliance controls using a Board Risk Committee-approved Compliance Monitoring Plan
- Horizon Scanning and interpreting new and existing regulatory developments.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Educated to degree level (desirable)
- Relevant compliance qualifications from ICA/CISI or an equivalent institution
- Ability to work with autonomy
- Ability to analyse and interpret legislation and regulation and formulate pragmat ic solutions .
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft office suite such as Outlook and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
