Leisure Apprentice

FIND are a specialist staffing business, servicing the Skills, Learning & Apprenticeship markets across the UK. We’re representing one of the largest providers in our industry, providing training across all four nations in the UK. Our client are Ofsted grade 2 and have 6,000 active apprentices on program have been working in training for 30 years.
Role : Internal Quality Assurer/IQA (Active Leisure)

Reports to : Lead Internal Quality Assurer

Wales with travel. Candidates must drive and have their own vehicle (all travel paid for)
Employment Type: Part Time (2 days a week)

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) with experience in the active leisure sector to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of our apprenticeship programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the development of our assessors and trainers. The IQA role is a hybrid role with both remote and face to face working required. This role will cover the whole of Wales so the ability to travel to support our business requirements is a must. We are looking for a part time IQA and can be flexible on the days worked within the week.

Conduct regular quality assurance activities, including observations, sampling, and audits of assessment practices.
• Ensure compliance with awarding body requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all quality assurance activities.
• Lead standardization meetings and training sessions for assessors and trainers.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including awarding bodies and regulatory authorities, as required.

Significant experience in a quality assurance role within the apprenticeship sector for active leisure
• Occupational experience with the leisure industry (Gym L2/PT L3, Leisure/Activity Leadership
• In-depth knowledge of current apprenticeship standards and assessment practices.
• Proficiency in using e-portfolios and other digital assessment tools.
