Job Title: SAP Finance Systems Analyst

Location: Various UK and EU office locations (London, Dublin, Italy, Spain, Poland)

About the role:

An exciting opportunity at BSI has become available for a SAP Finance Systems Analyst to join our Core Systems Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has a passion for systems, finance and technology with practical experience in technical configuration.

Reporting into the Finance Core Systems Team Leader, our Core Systems team is newly formed, working alongside both our Global BAU and Strategic Projects Teams that look after our Finance Systems with team members currently based in the UK, USA and Malaysia. You would be responsible for the project delivery, production support, maintenance and configuration of our integral SAP FICO solutions and related systems globally, collaborating with a supportive and innovative colleagues.

If you have previous experience within a Finance Systems role specifically working with SAP EEC6 FI/CO, a strong knowledge of the fundamentals of accounting and are ambitious in achieving your next career goals within an international organisation then we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • The delivery of SAP FI/CO and other system configurations.
  • System testing, UAT, document system configuration and delivering training.
  • Reviewing issues/queries received in the Finance Systems shared mailbox and proposing solutions.
  • Providing second-line support for the SAP finance user community, collaborating with the first-line support team.
  • Understanding requirements and mapping them to BSI Group processes.
  • Reviewing requirements and proposing solutions for integration with wider BSI processes and systems.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Experience in a similar Finance System role.
  • Strong working experience focussing on required SAP ECC6 FI/CO modules.
  • Systems implementation skills: configuration, requirements/process analysis, testing, training, support.
  • Solid fundamental knowledge of transactional and/or financial/management accounting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and desire to engage with other systems and finance teams.
  • A love for problem solving, being solution orientated.
  • Strong English language skills, essential. Other languages from EMEA highly beneficial
  • It would be advantageous to have any integration experience with other modules such as SD and MM.
