We are working with a leading client in the Satellite Communications sector. Their cutting edge technology has enabled people and businesses to connect worldwide. They are now seeing an experienced Software Architect to join and lead their growing team.

About the role:

As a Software Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping the software architecture and design of their satellite communication systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that the software solutions are robust, scalable, and efficient.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and develop the software architecture for satellite communication systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Lead the design and implementation of software solutions using C++, Python, and Shell scripting, with a strong emphasis on embedded development and Linux environments.
  • Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and other software teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software architecture and satellite communications.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in software architecture and development, with a focus on embedded systems
  • Experience working in satellite communications, telecom or aerospace industry.
  • Proficiency in C++, Python, and Shell scripting.
  • Strong experience with Linux-based development environments and embedded systems.
