Join Our Team as a Care Team Supervisor We are seeking a dedicated Care Team Supervisor to join our team and uphold our vision and values, ensuring that our care workers deliver exceptional service to our service users.
Annual Leave & Absences Management: Efficiently manage care workers' annual leave and absences, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Provide care workers with full briefings about service users' needs and any updates as their needs change.
Drive recruitment initiatives, actively participate in hiring new care workers, and conduct interviews to build a strong, dedicated team.
Facilitate care team meetings both on-site and off-site, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Implement a structured onboarding programme for new care workers, ensuring they are well-prepared and supported from day one.
Field Observations: Carry out relevant observations in the field and support new care workers in completing their care certificates.
Ensure care worker compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements.
Incident Management: Handle incidents and complaints, completing all necessary documentation and following up as required.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of care workers, conducting supervisions and appraisals in line with organisational policies.
Conduct & Performance: Address any conduct or performance issues with the support of the HR advisor.
Undertake backup on-call duties as part of a planned rota, supporting the centralised out-of-hours on-call service.
Collaborative Planning: Work closely with the line manager, care scheduler, and other colleagues to proactively plan for ongoing recruitment and resource needs.
Ensure the timely supply of PPE to all care workers.
Policy Knowledge: Maintain a working knowledge of all relevant policies and procedures.
Routinely identify and report any areas of concern, potential business development opportunities, quality compliance issues, and any business-related prospects or threats to your line manager.
