This is an essential role for our funded programmesas it will maintain all regulatory compliance withpublic funds and ensure budgets are managed effectively.

About the Role

I nventyaare looking for a Finance Assistant to join our Finance team. Thesuccessful candidate should possess a minimum of three years of experience infinance. They should be willing to assume responsibilities in supporting seniormanagement and demonstrate a strong desire to evolve and expand their rolewithin the organisation.

Key Requirements

  • Research regulatory requirements pertinent to the project andenforced by IUK and other Regulatory Agencies
  • Checking the beneficial owner of the beneficiaries in linewith Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations
  • Performing the financial checks to confirm eligibility ofbeneficiaries.
  • Client engagement and collation of the supportingdocumentation to evidence grant payments requests.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for the project managersas required.
  • Collate and prepare quarterly claims by using the approvedcosts methodologies.
  • Maintain the conflict-of-interest register.
  • Take part in client meetings as and when required.
Requirements

Skills / Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in financial projectadministration

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite(Outlook, Word, Excel) is required

  • Ability to interpret the legislative specifications thatapply to the role
    Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in working both independently and collaborativelywithin a team
  • Adherence to strict confidentialitystandards

  • Skill in multitasking and effectiveprioritisation

  • Confidence to build strong working relationships withstakeholders across all levels of seniority

  • Salary-between £22k to £28k per annum, depending on experience
