Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Privacy Manager to join our partners dynamic team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading privacy initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic guidance on data privacy matters.

Develop and implement data privacy policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard sensitive information.
Provide expert guidance and support to internal stakeholders on privacy-related issues, including data handling practices, risk assessments, and compliance requirements.
Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and develop mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends to ensure our privacy program remains up-to-date and effective.
Serve as a subject matter expert on data privacy matters, providing training and awareness programs to enhance privacy awareness across the organisation.
Act as a liaison with regulatory authorities, external auditors, and third-party vendors on privacy-related matters.
Prepare and present reports to senior management, outlining key privacy risks, compliance status, and remediation efforts.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Law, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in privacy and data protection, preferably within the financial services industry or IT consulting.
Proven track record of managing, developing, and implementing privacy programs, policies, and procedures.
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive results.
Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex privacy risks and develop practical solutions.
Strong understanding of relevant legal frameworks and their implications for data privacy management.
