Legal Applications and Innovation Architect
iManage (Cloud, Work 10, Insight) and other legal information systems
Performance and capacity management tools
Microsoft technology stack (M365)
Solid understanding of Enterprise infrastructure - public/private cloud, Data Centre, authentication services, Storage & Virtualisation, Hypervisor design, backups, SQL, cybersecurity, VDI.
Experience implementing legal Innovation technology
Lead the technical design and development of the Firm's legal information systems (LIS).
Oversee the technical aspects of design and delivery of IT systems underpinning the innovation project portfolio, providing technical direction and support to the project team as required.
Work closely with business stakeholders to define technologies acceptance and adoption criteria, ensuring alignment with IT strategy.
Translate business needs into system solutions ensuring long term supportability of the architecture.
Contribute to the roadmap for continuous improvement, innovation, evolution, and suitable replacement when/where necessary, of the systems.
Define and own architectural best practices design for solutions required for both extensions to existing products and new disruptive innovations alike.
Standardise and globalise systems taking into account both global and regional needs.
Define, design and deliver solutions that meet the current and future needs of the Firm given the growth, agility, availability and performance that the Firm requires.
Develop a detailed understanding of the components that make up the systems, their purpose and their capacity and performance levels to provide a solid basis for high performing systems.
Maintain the catalogue and configuration management process for the systems.
Contribute to operational handover, service introduction documentation and training material, in conjunction with the IT Training team
Service focused attitude and professional manner, appropriate for a commercial law firm.
Ability to work in a flexible way in respect of works required outside of normal working hours.
Ability to travel to the Firms' offices when required.
