Our client is a national retail co-operative, seeking to recruit a data administrator to support the Procurement teams to improve data administration quality, preparation for negotiations, deal team organisation and supplier communication support. Below covers everything you need to know about what this opportunity entails, as well as what is expected from applicants. Key skills and attributes:

  • Confident and highly organised multi-tasker and self-starter.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and commercial thinker.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office, Excel (Pivot tables / Vlookup etc.) and Word skills.
  • Experienced data administrator.
  • Project management skills with ability and flexibility to manage different activities.
Your role will include:
  • Supplier administration management (e.g. contracts / pricelists, price increases and promotions).
  • Support teams to ensure processes and projects are delivered.
  • Issuing and analysing questionnaires.
  • Pre-tender product line level analysis to provide more in-depth negotiating focus.
  • Issue Invitations to Tender (ITT) to Suppliers and conduct analysis of replies for negotiating teams. • Meeting preparation and team briefing.
  • Support accurate contract creation and quality checking prior to deal set up.
  • Monitoring stats / KPIs / savings measurement to track performance delivery.
  • Produce compliance reports.
