Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer specializing in AWS, you will:

  • Develop Fullstack Applications : Build applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
  • Lead AWS Architecture and Implementation : Act as the AWS subject matter expert, designing and implementing cloud solutions.
  • Design Serverless Infrastructure : Architect and manage our AWS infrastructure using event-driven design principles for scalability and efficiency.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Apply IaC practices with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK).
  • Optimize System Performance : Enhance application performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency within AWS.
  • Ensure High Availability : Implement disaster recovery practices to maintain uptime and reliability of our cloud systems.
  • Mentor and Collaborate : Provide guidance to team members on AWS best practices and fullstack development, and contribute to technical problem-solving.
  • Maintain Code Quality : Conduct code reviews and uphold high coding standards.
  • Stay Current with AWS Innovations : Regularly evaluate new AWS services and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with:

  • Experience : 4+ years in fullstack development, with a focus on cloud and DevOps.
  • AWS Expertise : In-depth knowledge of AWS services, particularly serverless and event-driven architectures.
  • Backend Proficiency : Strong skills in Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Containerization : Familiarity with Docker and orchestration tools such as EKS.
  • Network Administration : Experience with network setup and management.
  • AWS Security and Compliance : Knowledge of AWS security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Observability : Experience with AWS monitoring and observability tools.
  • Database Knowledge : Experience with databases such as Postgres (RDS), OpenSearch, Redis, and DynamoDB.
  • CI/CD Expertise : Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines; we use GitHub Actions.
  • Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to optimize complex systems and solve technical challenges.
  • Team Collaboration : Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
