We are looking to recruit a permanent, full-time Finance Managerbased in Manchester. The Finance Manager will support the Group Financial Controller and will be responsible forpreparing management accounts, statutory accounts, and assisting with budgeting, forecasting and cash management, together with working with the team to drive process changes and systems improvements.
Preparation and detailed analysis of monthly management accounts to Group timescales, including comparisons to prior year, budget, forecasts and commentary.
Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts.
Preparation of year-end statutory accounts, including disclosure notes, and managing the audit.
Assist with corporation tax returns, including R&D tax credit claims.
Calculate Group management recharges for the interim and year-end accounts.
Communication and analysis of appropriate, timely and regular financial reporting to budget owners and supporting business partner relationships.
Ensure the financials comply with IFRS reporting standards and be mindful of new standards which need to be adopted.
Ad-hoc tasks as required.
