We are working with an engineering organisation in Shropshire looking to implement Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ERP. This is predominantly an office based role so we would be looking to speak to candidates who can commute regularly to the Bridgnorth area.

Do you have Dynamics NAV Consultant executive experience, and are you looking for a new opportunity?

As a Dynamics NAV Consultant, you will direct the upgrade of SQL based Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 on premise to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central cloud for Manufacturing. You be working with business end users and stakeholders to review current modifications and advise on whether they are retained or replaced by core functionality with a continuous improvement and fit for purpose approach.

The key responsibilities in the Dynamics NAV Consultant role will be to:

  • Lead the upgrade of Microsoft NAV/BC
  • SQL, Assist with the data migration which is to be minimal and clean.
  • Implement standard functions to reduce time to perform tasks.
  • Make data more accessible and live.
  • Reduce potential errors and re-keying of data.
  • Improve traceability and performance tracking
  • Develop and maintain user and system documentation.

  • Consulting - covering all aspects, including supporting your colleagues and SQL NAV users, product demonstrations, analysis, implementation, training and documentation
  • Experience within business and process analysis ideally within Manufacturing
  • Experience defining, documenting and communicating project management
  • Experience ensuring all stakeholders understand the capabilities and limitations of the system
