This EYFS, Primary, Secondary and Post-16 SEND school, based in South Tyneside is looking to appoint a passionate Teacher of SEND to work in either Key Stage 3 and 4 classes on a full-time basis. Working in this SEND school as part of an established team, the desired Teacher of SEND will be working on a small class size basis with pupils with SEND including Autism, MLD, SLD, PMLD, ADHD, Specific Learning Difficulties, Complex Medical Needs and Speech and Language Difficulties. This full time Teacher of SEND role is long term from April ongoing with the possibility of a permanent vacancy for the right person.
The school is a nurturing, educational and therapeutic community for pupils and their families and pride themselves on having a positive and welcoming atmosphere. They work together to provide a stimulating environment to ensure the pupils achieve to the best of their ability. The school understands that all pupils are unique and we empower them to achieve independence and success in the wider world.
Experience of working with primary school aged children.
