Buckden Partners has been mandated by an award-winning real estate advisory firm, to support them with the search for a new Senior Analyst/ Associate.

From a debt advisory perspective, typical loan sizes range from £10m-£200m. You will work sector agnostic and gain experience across the spectrum of asset classes and the stages of an asset’s life (site/ construction/ stabilisation, repositioning, etc). Jurisdictions include the UK & Western Europe, finance types include short-term, long-term, investment and development finance and seeking solutions from both banking and non-banking lenders.

About the Role:

Due to continued growth the firm they are looking to hire a Senior Analyst/Associate with a minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in real estate capital markets, preferably in the arranging / execution of real estate debt.

  • Supporting a deal leader in all aspects of a debt financing transaction.
  • Liaising with clients to assemble the information required to take a transaction to market.
  • Preparing lender presentations / information memorandums.
  • Preparing cashflows / development appraisals / tenancy schedules / other financial information.
  • Attending meetings with clients / lenders, alongside the deal leader.
  • Approaching lenders, assisting the management of a competitive lender tendering process in a structured & professional manner.

Candidate Requirements:

  • University degree.
  • Real estate background – minimum 3-5 years of post-graduate experience.
  • Excellent Microsoft skills – particularly Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Confident in building / amending financial models (debt & equity cash flows).
