Site Servies Engineer

Alexander Steele is recruiting a Site Services Engineer to join a leading food manufacturing business in Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will play an integral part in maintaining reliability and compliance by carrying out high quality planned and reactive work. The role holder will provide appropriate repairs to key site services across daily.

Responsibilities:

* Maintenance/ repairs to site services including chillers, compressors, and boilers.

* Ensure site services meet current guidelines and regulations of the relevant authorities and agencies.

* Manage the site water treatment contractors' and ensure compliance.

* Ensure compliance with Quality, Food Safety & HSE requirements.

* Organise and manage external contractors including risk assessment reviews and issuing Permits to work.

Background Experience:

* Apprentice trained maintenance engineer.

* Knowledge of Water treatment, HVAC, Ammonia, Compressors, Boilers and Building maintenance.

* BTEC (practical and theory) or equivalent in an Engineering related discipline.

* Proven experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing or processing environment.

* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
