This role is key in the Configuration Services team and is required to work closely with the Configuration Delivery Manager, Engineers, Customers, Services & Operations Team and the Sales function of the business, working towards delivering high quality services exceeding customers' expectations. Exhibiting leadership qualities while resolving technical issues and serving as a link between subordinates and upper management Commutable locations: Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire Job Specification: Configuration Engineer Team Leader Key to the success of this role will be provide technical support and assistance to team members as well as performing normal configuration operations and ensuring Configuration work is completed to required standards of quality within specified timeframes. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Configuring and preparing machines for hardware and software installation. Installing and configuring software products as per customer's specifications. Assisting with the installation/imaging, configuration of desktop computers, laptops and peripheral equipment, and software. Liaising with the team supervisor with technical queries. Testing parts and software where required. Assisting with any other tasks in the workshop such as packing and unpacking machines. Maintaining high levels of quality within configuration. Completing a minimum number of units (including installations, repairs, parts testing etc) per month. Installing and configuring units within the quoted or agreed time limits. Requirements: Configuration Engineer Team Leader We are looking for an individual with the following experience: Excellent knowledge of computer hardware. Experience in configuration, Image building, SCCM, Autopilot. Experience troubleshooting and replacing hardware on both desktop and laptop PC's. Knowledge of PC & Server hardware, computer architecture and MS, Apple & Google operating systems.
