Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Flexi Hours, Monday to Friday

My client, a market leader in their field are searching for an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join the business. This is a really exciting opporutnity, the business invests annually on new equipment, updating their processes and training/developing staff. This role is pivitol in working on key projects and driving the business forward.

Manage the team members within Production Engineering and work closely with key technical staff to ensure there is application of appropriate engineering skills, support is provided for production and NPI Porjects.
Manage and improve business facilities, overseeing projects to ensure they are completed on time and to budget
Ensure the business is supported in solving problem that affect production, minimising delays
Conduct H&S risk assessments
Ensure the design, trial, manufacture and commission of tools and fixtures
Minimum 5 Years manufacturing experience within an engineering leadership role
Proven responsibility for engineering budgets, including CAPEX expenditure
Proficent use of CAD Packages - Solidworks, SolidEdge, AutoCAD
Experience in applying CI / Lean principles in a manufacturing setting
Project Management experience
Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word
Data-driven and analytical
