Design and Technology Teacher

Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Our client has an exceptional independent special school who are focused on providing a safe learning environment that benefits all learners with the skills for their future.

As an Design and Technology Teacher within their school, you will be providing professional learning and development for all pupils through establishing personalised learning routes across the provision.

You will be playing your part in helping the school achieve its aims and values. As well as competitive pay and in house professional support our client provide and fully fund the necessary training to achieve valuable externally accredited qualifications.

To maintain and use short-, medium- and long-term plans in delivering the curriculum.
-To monitor, assess, review and report on the progress and work of students to parents, team members, senior staff, examination and funding bodies through reports and identified meetings as directed and as is required through school policies and procedures.
-To maintain knowledge through training and research where appropriate and take responsibility for own professional development.
-We are looking for a qualified Teacher with a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in English and Maths who has at least 2 years’ experience teaching young people with SEMH.
