Kennedys is looking for an Associate/ Senior Associate/ Legal Director to join our team based in either our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices. The Kennedys insurance team in Scotland is led by Gavin Henderson, a ranked individual for Professional Negligence in both Chambers and the Legal 500.
We are interested in speaking to candidates with professional indemnity expertise, with experience acting for professionals and insurers in complex and high value claims. Kennedys Scotland provides a comprehensive service to insurers, ranging from friendly, off the record advice to comprehensive legal advice on the most complex of claims.
Instructed by a mix of insurer and corporate clients, the team receive a steady flow of claims related to property damage, employer, public and occupier liability, motor, catastrophic injury, healthcare, fraud, abuse, product liability and occupational disease.
Advising on claims and in conduct and services complaints.
Both pre-litigation and litigated matters. Promoting early resolution of claims and alternative dispute resolution methods without recourse to litigation.
