A Global Design Consultancy is looking for an experienced Naval Architect, this is a rare opportunity to work in an innovative and agile design studio consulting across three sectors, commercial, defence and leisure Working on Technical Design on a variety of vessels, with a fantastic team in a brand new office set up. (Technical hand calculations, weight, stability, performance, structures etc
~ Collaboration with design and engineering internally and externally to create CAD drawings for production, 2D & 3D.
~ Generation of high quality drawings for external suppliers
~ Working experience using AutoCAD and Rhino
~ Desired experience with Aluminium vessels, commercial vessels would be ideal.
~ As an individual you will have come from a degree in Naval Architecture or Technical Yacht Design and ideally have a minimum of 4 years’ experience.You'll be disciplined in your work and able to provide accurate drawings in AutoCAD/Rhino.
