Calling all Grill Chef’s . We are currently seeking an experienced grill chef to join our team at a fast-paced traditional English cafe. As a grill chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious breakfast and lunch meals for our valued customers. The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking and be able to handle high volumes of orders while maintaining quality and presentation standards. A calm and positive demeanor is essential to thrive in our busy environment.. . Responsibilities:. - Prepare and cook traditional English breakfast and lunch items, such as grilled meats, eggs, sausages, bacon, burgers, sandwiches, and other menu items.. - Ensure all food is cooked to perfection and meets our high-quality standards.. - Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and timely delivery of meals.. - Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.. - Manage stock levels and ensure proper rotation of ingredients.. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop new menu items and specials.. - Maintain a calm and positive demeanor even during busy periods.. . Requirements:. - Proven experience working as a grill chef in a fast-paced environment.. - Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.. - Strong knowledge of traditional English breakfast and lunch cooking techniques.. - Excellent organizational skills to coordinate multiple orders simultaneously.. - Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations.. - Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.. - Strong communication skills.. - Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.. .
