Primary School Teacher Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons aligned with the Year 6 curriculum, fostering a love for learning and preparing students for key assessments.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work, share best practices, and contribute to the wider school community.
  • Provide effective feedback to students to support their progress and celebrate their achievements.

Primary School Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in Year 6 or upper Key Stage 2.
  • Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Dedication to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
