CONTRACT & MONITORING MANAGER
We are looking for a proactive and organised post contract manager to oversee the successful delivery of our development projects once contracts are in place.
You’ll ensure homes are built to the required quality, meet all compliance standards and are handed over smoothly for letting or sale. This role is ideal for someone confident in managing contractors, monitoring performance and resolving issues quickly.
You will manage the full post-contract phase, coordinating colleagues, consultants and contractors to ensure projects stay on programme, within scope and budget. You will track progress, monitor financial performance, meet regulatory and Homes England requirements, and lead project close-down to support continuous improvement.
A strong customer focus is essential. You will review quality reports, identify and resolve defects, and act as the main link between aftercare teams, consultants and developers to ensure a smooth customer experience.
You will build effective relationships with stakeholders, monitor performance and address any issues as they arise. You will manage budgets and cashflows, complete viability reviews, and maintain risk registers to ensure projects remain compliant, safe and on track.
This role is permanent and full time. You can be based from either of our main offices in Tewkesbury or Wolverhampton with regular travel to sites required.
You will have:
Experience in housing or construction project delivery
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Confidence working with budgets and risk
IT literacy
Full UK driving licence
Ability to complete DBS and consumer checks
GCSEs or A Levels, with a relevant qualification desirable
The closing date is 14 December with first stage interviews taking place 18 December via Teams.
If you take pride in delivering high-quality homes and driving results, we’d like to hear from you.
