Integra Education are working with a Cheshire based secondary school who are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join the school's well-being team as a Pastoral Support Officer, a post in which emotional support is at the core of the role. This is a temp-to-perm position for the right candidate, so it is not an opportunity to be missed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group support to students, addressing social, emotional, and mental health needs
Develop positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
Identify and respond to student concerns and crises
Collaborate with teachers, counsellors, and other support staff
Maintain accurate records and report on student progress
Requirements:
Strong understanding of child development, social-emotional learning, and mental health principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
DBS Certificate (or willingness to apply)
