We are currently recruiting for a Dementia Manager for a large care home based in High Wycombe.

As a Dementia Care Manager you will be responsible for overall management of the Dementia community within the home and implementing and embedding the Dementia strategy at local level. You will ensure all residents are provided with the highest possible standards of care and support, including end of life care and will build trusting and transparent relationships with their families, identifying care needs and preferences and ensure these are accurately reflected in care plans as appropriate.

About You
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a comparable setting
  • Extensive senior experience in adult social care settings
  • Dementia Care Mapping qualification or prepared to undertake training for qualification within 12 months.
  • Level 3 NVQ
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and effectively manage a large team
  • Good understanding of CQC fundamental standards
