A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Sub Agent to join their team on a significant infrastructure project based in Bridgwater. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil works, with specific experience in drainage, Section 278 (S278) works, foul sewers, reinforced concrete (RC) works, and retaining walls. Overseeing the day-to-day operations of civil engineering projects, including drainage systems, S278 works, and foul sewer installation
- Managing reinforced concrete (RC) works, retaining walls, and large-scale earthworks
- Coordinating with site engineers, contractors, and client representatives to ensure project delivery within scope, time, and budget
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and maintaining quality control throughout the project
- Supervising the workforce and managing subcontractors to achieve project milestones
- Proven experience as a Sub Agent or similar role in civil engineering, with a strong focus on drainage, S278 works, foul sewers, earthworks, and RC structures
- Strong ability to manage and lead site teams, including subcontractors and engineers
- Valid CSCS card is essential, SMSTS or equivalent is desirable

Competitive salary circa £50,000 to £55,000, depending on experience
