As the Integrated Governance Officer, you will lead on the managing of complaints and incidents while evaluating organizational processes. Birthday Leave Guarantee: Birthday leave isn't compulsory; Operate and lead on the Complaints Policy and Procedures, Incident Policy and Records Management Policy at DHU on a day-to-day basis.
• Provide advice to members of the public and staff about the complaints, incidents and medical records requests procedures.
• Logging and maintaining Datix records for incidents and complaints.
• ensuring that these are processed in accordance with DHU Policies and Procedures.
• Liaise with staff, clinicians, and outside agencies regarding the implementation of Learning Outcomes arising from complaints and incidents if required.
• Provide administrative support to the Head of Governance/Corporate Head of Governance/Integrated Governance Team Leader including the booking of meetings and taking minutes if required.
• Working closely with the Governance Administration Team.
To be a successful Integrated Governance Officer you’ll need:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the handling and processing of complaints within the NHS or similar organisation.
• Competence in using a number of software packages, Work, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook.
