Interim Management Accountant

Our client, a global organisation with a reputation for providing excellent service to its customers, as well as a flexible and enjoyable working environment, is looking to hire a Management Accountant on an interim basis. This is a hybrid role and a fixed term contract until Feb 2025, so candidates must be available immediately to start as soon as possible and be able to commute to Luton 2 - 3 days per week. Main duties include:

  • Ensuring timely financial reports are generated
  • Reviewing P&Ls at month end against budgets
  • Providing insightful variance analysis explaining all relevant differences
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Business partnering with stakeholders to improve processes and controls
  • Supporting the UK Finance Manager
  • Preparing tax and statutory packs
  • Ensuring sales invoicing is correct
  • Reviewing and approving supplier invoices
  • Assisting the FP&A team on budgets and quarterly forecasting process
Key skills & experience includes:
  • Part-Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced environment within management accounting
  • High levels of integrity and attention to detail
  • Effective at planning, organisation and ownership of tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong excel skills
  • Proven ability to prioritise and manage expectations, working to tight deadlines.
