Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Agency Senior Social Worker to join our I A A team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering frontline social work services, providing timely and effective information, advice, and assistance to children, families, and vulnerable adults in Bridgend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify individuals' needs and appropriate interventions.
  • Provide accurate and relevant information and advice to service users and their families.
  • Develop and implement support plans in collaboration with service users, ensuring their views and wishes are central to the process.
  • Work closely with other professionals and agencies to coordinate support and services.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings, supervision sessions, and training as required.
  • Stay informed about changes in legislation, policies, and practices relevant to social work and the I A A service.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Social Work and current registration with Social Care Wales.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an I A A team or similar setting.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with service users, colleagues, and external partners.
